Many groups and advocacy organizations have been formed over the years in an effort
to help and empower people with diabetes. Click on the links below to access tools,

Continuous glucose monitoring
TCOYD is a non-profit diabetes education organization founded and directed by Dr.
Steven Edelman, a nationally-recognized diabetes specialist who also has Type 1
diabetes. TCOYD programs aim to inform, motivate, and empower participants to take
control of their diabetes.

NDIC provides resources and information to increase knowledge and understanding
about diabetes among patients, healthcare professionals, and the general public.
The CDC provides information for the public and professionals about diabetes, including
research, statistics, and educational publications.
The National Diabetes Education Program is a federally funded program sponsored
by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ National Institutes of Health
and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and includes over 200 partners
at the federal, state, and local levels, working together to reduce the morbidity
and mortality associated with diabetes.

The American Diabetes Association is the nation’s leading nonprofit health organization
providing diabetes research, information, and advocacy.
The AACE is a professional medical organization devoted to the enhancement of the
practice of clinical endocrinology and diabetes.
Founded in 1973, the American Association of Diabetes Educators is a multidisciplinary
professional membership organization dedicated to advancing the practice of diabetes
self-management training and care as integral components of healthcare for persons
with diabetes, and lifestyle management for the prevention of diabetes.
The JDRF is the leading advocate for people diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This
website is an informational and advocacy resource for both children and parents.
