DexCom's benefits package is competitive and comprehensive, providing you and your
family with programs that offer protection and security. We offer various programs
such as health, life, and disability plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Comprehensive medical insurance
DexCom offers all eligible employees a competitive package. Employees may select
either a PPO plan (Preferred Provider Organization) or an HMO plan (Health Maintenance
Organization) for themselves and their eligible dependents. The HMO plan is only
available to employees in California. These medical plans include prescription drug
benefits with mail-order privileges and low co-pays. Eligibility for medical insurance
coverage begins on the 1st day of the month following date of hire.

Company paid dental and vision insurance
DexCom offers all eligible employees a dental and vision plan from which they may
choose their own provider or they may choose from a network of providers. DexCom
pays 100% of dental and vision premiums for employees and their dependents. Eligibility
for dental and vision insurance coverage begins on the 1st day of the month following
date of hire.

Company paid long-term disability insurance
DexCom provides a Long-Term Disability Policy to eligible employees effective the
1st day of the month following date of hire. DexCom pays 100% of LTD premiums for
employees. After 90 days of continuous disability, employees are eligible for LTD
benefits in the amount of 60% of base salary not to exceed the maximum monthly benefit
of $12,000. Income from the LTD benefit payments is offset by funds received from
social security, workers' compensation, and other similar programs.

Company paid basic life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment
insurance
Eligible employees are covered by a Basic Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Policy equal to one times the employee's annual base salary. DexCom pays 100% of
the life insurance premiums for employees. Employees are eligible upon date of hire.

Supplemental life insurance
Employees may purchase additional life insurance for themselves and their eligible
dependents at competitive rates up to a designated amount. Eligibility begins on
the 1st day of the month following date of hire.

401(k) plan
Employees can make the most of their future and save for retirement by participating
in DexCom’s 401(k) Plan. Employees can defer 1% to 90% of their salary, up to IRS
limits. There are many great benefits to being a part of the 401(k) Plan such as:
tax savings on pre-tax contributions; convenience of tax-deferred earnings through
payroll deduction; and ease and flexibility to change investments and deferrals.

Stock options
Eligible employees may purchase stock shares in the Company that vest over a four-year
period after one year of employment.

Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
The ESPP program provides employees the opportunity to purchase shares of DexCom
stock at a discounted rate. Employees are eligible following 90 days of employment.

Flexible spending accounts (FSA)
The FSA Plan allows employees to pay for certain medical and dependent care costs
with pre-tax dollars. Employee may annually allocate a portion of their pre-tax
pay for these expenses. Eligibility begins on the 1st day of the month following
90 days of employment.

Employee referral program
DexCom is committed to building a first-class organization. Our Employee Referral
Program is designed to help us hire the most exceptionally qualified and talented
individuals that we know. Eligible employees may receive a $1,500 referral bonus
for their employee referrals.

Paid time off (PTO)
Employees may request and use PTO when needing to take time off for vacation, when
they are ill, or for other personal reasons. Eligible employees accrue 4.62 hours
on a per pay period basis. Accrual begins upon date of hire.

Holidays
DexCom offers 8 company designated holidays and 2 employee designated holidays per
calendar year.

Fitness center
Employees have the ease and convenience of having an on-site gym to help them exercise
and stay fit. There are no membership costs or dues. In addition, there are nearby
walking and biking trails.

Employee and family discount program
In addition to our excellent benefits plans, DexCom offers an Employee and Family
Discount Program. This program allows employees and immediate family members to
purchase DexCom Starter Kits and the Sensor 4-Packs at a discounted price.
