Calibration and Accuracy

What do I do if my CGM values seem inaccurate?

Refer to the Dexcom G7 User Guide for information on Dexcom G7 accuracy. For further support needed, you can also reach out to Dexcom 24 Hour Technical Support or the Dexcom CARE team for immediate assistance.

What does Calibration Not Used mean?

If you have entered a calibration, you may see Calibration Not Used in your History tab. This means that your Dexcom G7 sensor was not able to use the calibration you entered, so your glucose readings may not be aligned to your blood glucose (BG) meter.

What’s the difference between my BG meter reading and CGM reading?

Have you ever wondered why your blood glucose (BG) meter and Dexcom G7 reading are not the exact same number. One explanation is that a BG meter measures glucose from the blood while Dexcom G7 measures interstitial fluid, so those numbers may be different.
