Dexcom technology is more accessible than ever before

NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) have guidelines on funding real-time continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for people with diabetes.

  • NICE now recommends that people with type 1 diabetes are offered a choice of a glucose sensor, including real-time CGM.1
  • Children and young people with type 1 diabetes should be offered real-time CGM.2
  • For people with type 2 diabetes, the recommendation is that real-time CGM can be considered an alternative to intermittent scanning (isCGM). 3
