What does Calibration Not Used mean on my G7 CGM?

If you have entered a calibration, you may see Calibration Not Used in your History tab. This means that your Dexcom G7 sensor was not able to use the calibration you entered, so your glucose readings may not be aligned to your blood glucose (BG) meter.
If you see this message, give your sensor some time to adjust; then, try calibrating again in about an hour with a new fingerstick/finger prick. To get an accurate BG meter value, follow these steps:
  1. Wash your hands with soap and water
  2. Dry your hands
  3. Take a fingerstick/finger prick
