Hypoglycemia performance
Patients fear hypoglycemia and the SEVEN PLUS offers the most hypoglycemia-robust performance.
- *All data unless otherwise noted are from published manufacturer user's guides (2/09). Accuracy data is compiled by manufacturer-based study data using the following average number of calibrations per day; DexCom: 2, Abbott: 15 (in-clinic), 8 (home), Medtronic: 3.5 or 5 (2 study groups).
- †Weinstein RL, et al. Diabetes Care. 2007;30(5):1125-3110.
- ‡Medtronic only reports overall Mean ARD data.
Patient-friendly Sensor
The SEVEN Sensor is the only brand with a round comfort-design, making it flexible, comfortable, and body-friendly. Plus, it's the smallest Sensor available — about the size of 2 human hairs in diameter. Go ahead — see how other brands add up.

Max calibration performance
Today's CGMs still need traditional fingersticks to calibrate Sensor readings. Your patients need a CGM that offers maximum calibration convenience and performance.

Continuous innovation
With the introduction of our 3rd-generation CGM — the SEVEN PLUS — we continue to improve on the SEVEN System's proven performance. It just keeps getting better! This is because we're the Sensor specialists.

Data Manager® 3 computer software
The SEVEN PLUS comes with easy-to-use computer software — DexCom Data Manager 3.
Download the software. The DexCom Data Manager 3 (DM®3) software allows the transfer of glucose data stored on the SEVEN® System or SEVEN PLUS into a computer. The software can easily be used by clinicians and patients to view and evaluate trends and track patterns.
The software creates customizable charts and reports to help optimize patients' glucose management and help pinpoint areas of concern. This helps reveal the true impact of food, exercise, and medication, and helps get to the root of problems quickly. Date ranges can easily be adjusted to view long- or short-term patterns and trends. Patients can save or print files to bring to their office visits for discussion. A1c values can also be entered in the software for tracking and viewing improvement over time.
DM3 has new features that are designed to improve the user experience, enhancing convenience, simplicity, and performance for both patients and clinicians. Reports have been improved and new reports have been created. Also, a new feature with the SEVEN PLUS is that patients can enter meal, insulin, health, and activity information into their SEVEN PLUS Receiver. These events can be reviewed later with the DexCom Data Manager 3 software. This information can help your patients and your practice review this event information, along with patients' glucose trends and patterns at office visits to help you make more informed decisions for revisions to patients' diabetes management plans.
Simple blinding feature
For clinicians, we have a special blinding feature that's as easy to turn on and off as the click of a mouse after initial setup. You can incorporate blinding into your CGM education programs or use it on those patients you want to extensively monitor. Plus, blinding and unblinding can be done on the same device — no separate product needed!
