Jess Roper was promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2008. Mr. Roper joined DexCom in March 2005 as its Director of Finance and also served as its Interim Chief Financial Officer since July 2007. He has over 15 years of financial management and auditing experience. Mr. Roper previously held financial management positions
with two other NASDAQ listed companies and one venture funded company, and has been a key participant in two initial public offerings, acquisitions / divestitures, and several equity and debt financings.

Mr. Roper was also an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and a bank and information systems examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Mr. Roper holds a B.S. in Finance, an M.S. in Corporate Accountancy, and is a certified public accountant in the state of California.
