How to Buy

To place an order directly with Customer Service:

1. Obtain a prescription (or certificate of medical necessity) for a continuous glucose monitor from your doctor

NOTE: The FDA requires the prescription be from a clinic or medical site that has been trained by DexCom on the use of the Seven System. If you are unsure if your doctor’s office has received this training, please contact Customer Service at 1-877-DEXCOM4 (1-877-339-2664)


2. Send in your prescription

Your doctor or local DexCom representative can also send in your prescription.

Choose 1 for Customer Service
Please have the following information ready in order to get your Seven System Starter Kit shipped to you as soon as possible:

  • Your name
  • Date of birth
  • Billing and shipping addresses
  • Phone number
  • Credit card number and expiration date

Please note that supplies and replacements can be purchased through the DexCom online store. New orders are handled through Customer Service.
