Trend-waves + trend-arrows
Your Home Screen shows your 3-hour trend-wave, trend-arrow, and current glucose value, so you can have a complete look at your glucose at a glance. And knowing your trend is invaluable! Here's why:
You have the option to view your glucose trend-waves from the past 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour periods with a simple push of a button. All of the screens show your current glucose reading along with past glucose trend information.

Trend-arrows show you which direction your glucose level is headed and how quickly it's moving so you can act fast and stay in your target range. The trend-arrows are displayed under your current glucose reading. The SEVEN PLUS has 7 different trend arrow symbols so that you can easily know where you stand.

The SEVEN PLUS Receiver stores up to 30 days of your glucose trends. This data can be downloaded to your computer to view long-term trends to help you evaluate your diabetes management progress. Learn more about the DexCom Data Manager® 3 analysis software.
Alerts + re-alerts + snooze
The SEVEN PLUS comes equipped with customizable alerts and re-alerts that you can depend on — like your personal 24/SEVEN safety net. The SEVEN PLUS Receiver notifies you when your glucose falls below your low alert level or rises above your high alert level, helping to keep you in your target range. No more guessing!
You also have the option to be re-alerted, allowing you to be alerted more often if you choose. And the alarm snooze feature is like a second safety net, because it will alert you again every 5 minutes until you return to your target range. Talk about a device that can help steer you in the right direction.

The default low alert is set at 80 mg/dL and the high alert is set at 200 mg/dL.

Hypo-Safety-ALARM
The SEVEN PLUS has a unique built-in, fixed Hypo-Safety-ALARM — the only of its kind — that automatically notifies you when glucose levels are at, or below, 55 mg/dL and cannot be turned off. Accuracy in the "hypo-zone" sets the PLUS apart from the competition. This Hypo-Safety-ALARM gives you a second level of awareness that no other brand offers. And for additional safety and convenience, the sound of the Hypo-Safety-ALARM is different than the high and low alert, so you can immediately tell when a very low glucose episode is occurring. This alarm cannot be turned off — so it's always on the lookout for you!
Event markers
Enter activities and events that may impact your diabetes management (like insulin dosing, exercise, food intake, etc.) to help you improve your control over time. This information can help you and your diabetes management team review your glucose trends and patterns and may help you make better decisions about your diabetes management plan. These events can be reviewed later with the DexCom DM analysis software.
