Coronavirus Update from Dexcom

At Dexcom, we are tracking the Coronavirus situation closely with three key priorities in mind: keeping our employees safe; serving our patients; and doing what we can to minimize the spread in our community.

As many are aware, the State of California recently issued a stay-at-home mandate. As a healthcare organization, Dexcom is defined as an “essential business” and, thus, is exempted from the mandate. To date, we have not encountered any interruptions that would have an impact on Dexcom’s ability to produce and supply product. However, we are limited in our ability to answer live calls and wait times on the phone will be longer than usual.

FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

As the Coronavirus situation continues to unfold, we are working rapidly to accommodate our workforce which will impact our ability to service Technical Support issues in the near-term. We are limited in our ability to answer live calls and currently have wait times up to 1 hour. If your request is not urgent, please consider if you need service now or can wait. FOR DATA SHARING WITH YOUR CLINIC:

DEXCOM PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:

The Dexcom Patient Assistance Program will be available to current  U.S. customers who have lost their health insurance coverage as a result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.* The Program will be available during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. To learn more about this program, click here.

*Patients that are eligible for coverage of their Dexcom CGM systems under a federal or state government program (such as Medicare, Medicaid or VA benefits) are not eligible to participate in this Program. Certain terms and conditions will apply to be eligible for participation in the Program, such as the submission of a complete Program application and documentation showing loss of healthcare benefits.
