If I am replacing my compatible smart device, what will I need to do?

Insulin and food both take time to work. Avoid getting repeated alerts while you wait. To do so, go into the alert settings and turn off the Snooze feature.

How do I stop repeated alerts?

The Dexcom G7 Apple widget lets you see your glucose numbers on your lock screen or home screen without opening the app.

How does the Dexcom G7 Apple Widget work?

Dexcom G7 sensors may be inserted on the back of the upper arm, the abdomen (not indicated for pregnant women), or the upper buttocks (ages 2-6 years old only).

Where can I insert my Dexcom G7 sensor?

To install the Dexcom G7 Apple Widget, you must first update your Dexcom G7 App to version 1.7.0 or later via the App Store.

How do you install the Dexcom G7 Apple Widget?

What do I do if my CGM values seem inaccurate?

No restarts are allowed. The Dexcom G7 sensor sends glucose data to a user’s compatible display device for up to 10 days with a 12-hour grace period at the end.

Can the sensor be restarted after 10 days?

Your smartphone settings can prevent the Dexcom G7 app from working optimally and may prevent notifications or may override alert volumes or functions.

The Android Bluetooth implementation we use for OS 10 and 11 requires you to give us this level of Location Permission so we can connect and communicate continuously with the Dexcom G7 sensor.

Why does the Dexcom G7 app ask for Location Permission when used on Android smartphones?

Yes, Dexcom G7 can be worn during pregnancy for all types of diabetes (type 1, type 2, or gestational).

Can Dexcom be worn during pregnancy?

You can see the events you’ve tracked on your display device. On the receiver, navigate to the Event Log, and you’ll see a list of the last 15 events you logged.

Where can I see past events that I logged on the Dexcom G7 receiver?

Quiet Modes allow you to quickly change your alerts to be more discreet by overriding each alert’s Sound/Vibrate setting.

The question marks mean that the transmitter does not understand the sensor readings for the moment. You will want to wait a minimum of 3 hours for them to clear. If they do not clear within that time frame, please contact Dexcom Technical Support at 1-844-82-1810 (Option 3).

What do the Question Marks (???) mean?

A new Dexcom customer will receive the Dexcom G6 system including a transmitter and sensors.

What components are required with the G6 system?

Google Health Connect is Google’s health and fitness tracking app available for use with Android devices. You can enable the Dexcom G6 app to share glucose data with Health Connect, which displays glucose data with a three-hour delay. Health Connect will not display real-time glucose information.

Can I share my glucose data with Health Connect?

Check Dexcom&#x27;s compatibility chart before updating your smart device or mobile operating system (OS). Dexcom tests its apps for compatibility on new OS versions after they&#x27;re released.

If I update my device&#x27;s operating system will it still be compatible with Dexcom apps?

Do I need a Dexcom account to access Dexcom CLARITY?

Under the Devices section of Dexcom CLARITY&#x27;s Overview page you will find the alert settings and last upload for the device. These settings are for your reference and are separate from Dexcom CLARITY settings.

Does Dexcom CLARITY have information about my receiver or smart device?

Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) is a standardized glucose report created by the International Diabetes Center to help people living with diabetes monitor glucose patterns.
