  2. Get Your Dexcom G6
    Get your Dexcom G6 in the mail and activate it using your information.
  3. Start your Journey
    Try it out during our guided journey, with the option to join the Dexcom family at the end.

Common Questions

Who is eligible for this program?
  • You may be eligible to participate in the Hello Dexcom program if you are living with diabetes (adults and children age 2 years and older), have not tried the Dexcom G6 and are taking insulin.
  • Program participation is subject to Dexcom’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Dexcom reserves the right to decline eligibility or discontinue this program at any time.
What should I expect in the Hello Dexcom box?
  • Your activation card to help begin your journey
  • One 10-day sensor and applicator
  • One Dexcom G6 transmitter
  • An easy-to-follow setup guide and instructions for use in English and French
Is there a cost for participating in this program?

There is no cost for participating in the Hello Dexcom program.

How long does the Hello Dexcom program last?

Your sensor will last for up to 10 days after activation. You’ll also receive options on how to join the Dexcom family permanently throughout the program.

Do I need a doctor to insert the Dexcom G6 sensor?

No: You can easily insert the sensor yourself at home by following the directions for use included with the Start Here and Using Your G6 Guides. You will receive all the support you need to get started through our online training resources.

How will I receive information and alerts from my Dexcom G6?

You’ll need a compatible smart device as part of this experience. There is no receiver included as part of the Hello Dexcom program.
