Who is eligible for this program?

Those who are new to Dexcom and have type 1 diabetes (adults and children) are eligible to join the Hello Dexcom program.

What should I expect in the Hello Dexcom box?
  • Your patient activation card to help begin your journey
  • One 10-day sensor and simple applicator
  • One Dexcom G6 transmitter with a 3-month life
  • An easy-to-follow setup guide and instructions for use
Is there a cost for participating in this program?

There is no cost for participating in the Hello Dexcom program.

How long does the Hello Dexcom program last?

Your sensor will last for 10 days after activation. You’ll also receive options on how to join the Dexcom family permanently throughout the program.

Do I need a doctor to insert the Dexcom G6 sensor?

No: You can easily insert the sensor yourself at home. You will receive all the support you need to get started through our online training resources.

How will I receive information and alerts from my Dexcom G6?

You’ll need a compatible smart device as part of this experience: There is no receiver included as part of the Hello Dexcom program.
