I am having a hard-time with insertion and overpatch on the back of the arm. Does Dexcom have any recommendations?

Ask a friend, family member, or healthcare provider to help insert your first Dexcom G7 sensor and apply the overpatch.
Insertion tips :
  • Look in a mirror while positioning the applicator or applying your overpatch
  • Try reaching under and over your arm to find out which is more comfortable.
  • Press and hold applicator firmly against skin until clear safety guard is pushed in. Then push button on side of applicator.
  • Ask your healthcare professional for more tips.
