The login screen is asking for my user ID. What does that mean?

Your user ID is the name or number you use to log in to all Dexcom apps and services. Depending on your age and when you created your account, your user ID may be:
  • a username you chose
  • your email
  • your mobile number

Your user ID is a username if:
  1. You are below legal age,
    OR
  2. You created your account before August 2021 (any age).
Your user ID is your email if:
  1. You created your Dexcom account after August 2021.
    AND
  2. You are above legal age.
    AND
  3. You verified your Dexcom account with a code sent via email.
Your user ID is your mobile number if:
  1. You created a new Dexcom account after May 2023.
    AND
  2. You are above legal age.
    AND
  3. You verified your account via a text message to your mobile number.
