How much does Dexcom G7 cost?

No, Dexcom G7 features an all-in-one sensor and transmitter. There is no need for a separate transmitter.

Do I need to keep my Dexcom G6 transmitter?

As we’ve done with all previous generations of Dexcom CGM, we are phasing out Dexcom G6 to focus on bringing you the latest technology and care with Dexcom G7.

Why is Dexcom G6 being discontinued, and when? 

Dexcom G7 is integrated with latest insulin pumps, pens, and health apps. Please visit your device manufacturer&#x27;s website for the latest status on integration.

Will my insulin pump, pen and other connected devices be compatible with G7?

 If you pick up your Dexcom G6 supplies at a pharmacy, all you need to do is ask your healthcare provider for a Dexcom G7 prescription

How do I upgrade from Dexcom G6 to Dexcom G7?

Dexcom G6 will continue to be sold in Malta through Q4 2025, but we cannot guarantee availability or inventory beyond 30/12/2025.

What if I don’t want to switch to Dexcom G7 and prefer to continue using Dexcom G6?

No, Dexcom G6 receivers are not compatible with Dexcom G7 sensors.

Does Dexcom G7 require a new receiver, or can I use existing Dexcom G6 receiver?

Yes, you&#x27;ll need to request a new prescription for Dexcom G7. If you get your supplies at a pharmacy, ask your healthcare provider for a Dexcom G7 prescription. 

Does Dexcom G7 require a new prescription?

No. The Dexcom G7 CGM System will work with existing versions of the Dexcom Clarity and Dexcom Follow apps. 

Once I download the Dexcom G7 app, will it require me to register again for Dexcom Clarity and Dexcom Follow?
