If you’re caring for a Dexcom user (minor or adult) you must create a dependent account for them to log in to their Dexcom CGM app or Clarity account.

How do I create my dependent’s account?

No. You can’t log in with your email unless you used it to create and verify your Dexcom account. 

Can all Dexcom users log in with their email? 

Yes. If you sign up with your email, it becomes your Dexcom user ID. You’ll use it to log in to all Dexcom apps and services.

Dexcom sends out important educational and support information covering your first 10 days with your new CGM system. 

I’m creating my account using my mobile number. Why are you also asking for my email address?

This option is available only to new Dexcom customers who are using G7. If you create an account using your mobile phone number, we’ll send your verification code by text message. Your mobile number will become your Dexcom user ID. You’ll use it to log in to all Dexcom apps and services.

Currently, everyone using Dexcom ONE has one of two types of user ID: Email or username. This means your account can be verified by email only.
