Private Short Code Terms of Use

(Text Messaging)

DexCom uses text messages to communicate with our patients from time-to-time.  For the convenience of our United States patients, DexCom has created an optional program using a United States Private Short Code (“Short Code”) to provide regular Dexcom order status notifications and product support. You may subscribe to this optional text message program by opting in through a designated Dexcom email campaign and confirming your consent to receive messages by replying "CONFIRM" to (48629). You may also opt-in by speaking with a Dexcom Customer Support representative at 888-738-3646. After confirming your subscription, you will receive order status notifications and Dexcom insurance benefit updates, product notifications, and more. At any time, you may text "STATUS" to the Dexcom designated Short Code (48629) for quick updates. The following terms apply to the use of DexCom's United States Short Code Customer Support Notification Program. DexCom 48629 Short Code Election

If you elect to join DexCom’s United States Short Code Customer Support Notification Program, you will receive approximately four (4) messages per month.  Message and data rates may apply.

Texts may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from DexCom, and we will not send you any text messages under this program unless you reply "CONFIRM" to the initial opt-in text message you will receive upon initiating the opt-in process.

STOP Information

To stop receiving notification messages, you can text “STOP” to 48629 and your mobile number will be removed from our subscriptions list.

To rejoin DexCom's Short Code Customer Support Notification Program after you have sent us a STOP message, as long as this Program continues, call 888-738-3646 to speak with a Dexcom Customer Support representative.
