Private Short Code Terms of Use

(Text Messaging)

DexCom uses text messages to communicate with our patients from time-to-time.  For the convenience of our United States patients, DexCom has created an optional program using a United States Private Short Code (“Short Code”) to assist in the reordering process of your diabetic supplies or inform you of important product notifications.  You can begin using this optional program by texting “JOIN” to (48629).  After you join, you will receive notifications from DexCom’s United States Customer Support Notification Program reminding you of DexCom CGM supplies that you need to reorder, and you will be able to respond using DexCom’s assigned Short Code as a very simple and easy way to reorder those supplies.  The following terms apply to the use of DexCom’s United States Short Code Customer Support Notification Program. 


DexCom 48629 Short Code Election

If you elect to join DexCom’s United States Short Code Customer Support Notification Program, you will receive approximately two (2) messages per month.  Message and data rates may apply.

Texts may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from DexCom, and we will not send you any text messages under this Program unless you send us the JOIN message to our Short Code 48629.

STOP Information

To stop receiving notification messages, you can text “STOP” to 48629 and your mobile number will be removed from our subscriptions list.

To rejoin DexCom’s Short Code Customer Support Notification Program after you have sent us a STOP message, as long as this Program continues, you can text “JOIN” to 48629 .
