What is Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)?
Glucose readings 24/SEVEN with CGM
A CGM system is a device that you wear to measure glucose levels in real-time, day and night — even during sleep it's watching out for you. This is like seeing up to 288 fingersticks daily, but unlike fingersticks, you see so much more than just a number. You see continuous glucose information, the direction your glucose is headed, and the speed it's moving.

CGM basics
CGM systems generally include a glucose sensor that uses adhesive to stick to your body and read glucose levels. It's worn for a few days (the SEVEN can be worn for up to a week) until replacement. The sensor is attached to the transmitter, which sends the glucose info to the receiver. And the receiver continuously displays this glucose information. However, not all CGM devices are equal.
