What is Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)?
Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems are a glucose management tool that measures glucose levels 24 hours a day using a sensor inserted just under the skin. It sends glucose numbers to your smartphone† in real time, without fingerpricks§. This allows you to leave the guesswork behind and easily see your glucose levels, how fast they are rising or falling, and to understand how your body reacts to food and physical activity.
§ If your glucose alerts and readings do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
