How do I remove and replace the Dexcom G6 CGM sensor?
The Dexcom G6 app or G6 Receiver will notify you when it is time to replace your G6 sensor after 10 days. Starting a new sensor takes only 4 quick steps:
1. Take the sensor off your body and remove the transmitter.
2. Enter the code from your new sensor into the app or receiver when prompted.
3. Insert your new sensor on and attach your transmitter.
4. Press “Start Sensor” within the Dexcom G6 app or G6 Receiver.
