Sharing Dexcom CGM Data: Clinics, Apps, and Followers
Whichever Dexcom device you are using there are multiple ways to share your glucose data securely and effectively. Below is a breakdown of methods and tools available for sharing with Followers, Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and 3rd party apps.
Sharing your glucose data with your clinic or healthcare team via Dexcom Clarity
Once you have linked your Dexcom Clarity data to your healthcare professionals account your data is shared automatically and continuously1, * if you're using the Dexcom CGM app. There will always be a delay between real-time readings and the data appearing in the HCP’s professional account.
If you're using a receiver, you must upload it manually to Dexcom Clarity at least every 30 days.
To share data with your HCP you will need them to provide you with their clinic share code.

- Open the app and go to Connections > Clarity Clinic.
- Enter the Clarity Clinic Code provided by your healthcare team.
- Confirm clinic details and tap Done.
