What is HbA1C?

HbA1C (also known as A1C) is a measurement of your average blood sugar control for the last two to three months. Approximately 50% of its value comes from the last 30 days.
Dexcom G6 provides you with your glucose numbers in real-time, including dynamic information about the speed and direction of your glucose levels. With this information, you can make better diabetes treatment decisions to help you avoid serious highs and lows as well as to lower your HbA1C. In fact, Dexcom CGM use is clinically proven to lower HbA1C, reduce hyper and hypoglycemia, and increase time in range.1,2
