What is a sensor code and why do I need one?

A pairing code allows you to connect the sensor to the phone and/or receiver via Bluetooth. Without it, the system won’t function.

Pairing with Dexcom ONE+ app: When starting a new sensor, use the camera on your smart device to scan the QR code printed on the applicator. If can’t successfully scan the QR code, manually enter the 4-digit pairing code on the applicator next to the QR code.

Pairing with Dexcom ONE+ receiver: When you start a new sensor, you need to manually enter the 4-digit pairing code printed on the applicator when prompted. The receiver doesn’t have a scan function.

Do not use a code from a different sensor or make up a code. If you do, your sensor will not connect to your compatible smart device or receiver.
