Days 1–2

Observe, Watch, Learn: What are my actions telling me?

Your Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System lets you keep track of insulin, carbs, exercise, and health-related events that affect your glucose levels. On Day 1, try to follow your normal routine and watch how your glucose levels behave after meals or insulin doses. Notice how your symptoms align with the Dexcom G6 app data, keeping in mind that you may not be used to seeing your levels change in real time*.
On Days 1 and 2, try to follow your normal routines, logging your meals, insulin doses, and other events – and watch how your glucose behaves. Details on entering Events in the Dexcom G6 app can be found in the "Using Your G6" guide.
