How do I access co-pay assistance as a Manulife Plan Member?

For Manulife plan members living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes on fast-acting insulin and a prescription for Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), coverage for Dexcom supplies will be automatically approved right at pharmacy.

If your plan covers CGM devices and you use fast-acting insulin to manage your, or your loved one’s diabetes, a pharmacist can now bill the cost of your Dexcom supplies directly to Manulife. This can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

To improve your purchasing experience, we have worked with Manulife to establish the Dexcom CGM Patient Benefit Program, to cover most if not all of your copay for Dexcom supplies in pharmacy. This program will cover up to 20% of the cost of Dexcom supplies, when dispensed and directly billed to Manulife by a pharmacist.

Downloading and using a co-pay certificate

Here’s how to take advantage of the co-pay program:

Obtain a prescription for Dexcom CGM from your doctor. Your pharmacist will need it to directly bill Manulife going forward.
Contact Dexcom Canada Customer Service toll-free at 1-844-832-1810, Option 1 (Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm ET) to access your unique co-pay certificate.
Call ahead to your pharmacy to ensure they have Dexcom CGM supplies in stock. This will ensure they have your supplies ready when filling your prescription.
Show your Manulife Dexcom CGM Copay Certificate to your pharmacist, either printed out or on your phone. They will then coordinate direct billing to Manulife and set-up your copay certificate.
