Can the sensor be restarted after 10 days?
No. The new Dexcom G6 CGM system is designed to eliminate the need for fingerstick calibrations* and can be used for 10 days without restart.

Is Dexcom G6 CGM waterproof?
Yes, the Dexcom G6 sensor and transmitter is water-resistant and can be submerged under 8 feet of water for up to 24 hours, allowing you to swim, shower or bathe.
Can Dexcom G6 go through airport security?
Dexcom G6 can go through airport security measures such as metal detectors, pat-downs and visual inspections without having to worry about damaging your CGM supplies.

How do I get a recap of my last 24 hours on my smart device?
Turn your smart device sideways. The landscape view lets you see up to the last 24 hours of sensor readings and, if you entered Events, your Event markers.

Are there any changes with alarms and alerts?
Urgent Low Soon alert is a new alert that can warn users in advance (within 20 minutes) of a severe hypoglycemic event (55 mg/dL or 3.1 mmol/L).

Can I view my Dexcom CGM data on an Android Wear watch?
The Android app supports Android Wear watches to discreetly view your glucose reading, trend arrow, and trend graph.
What are the recommended G6 iPhone settings?
Your phone settings can prevent the Dexcom G6 app from working. Learn more about the settings that will allow your app to work as expected.
Why is my trend arrow missing?
When there is no arrow, it means more glucose readings are needed to establish your trend.
Can I share my glucose data with Health Connect?
Google Health Connect is Google’s health and fitness tracking app available for use with Android devices. You can enable the Dexcom G6 app to share glucose data with Health Connect, which displays glucose data with a three-hour delay. Health Connect will not display real-time glucose information.
