Does Sun Life provide Dexcom CGM coverage?
Most plan members with diabetes using at least one anti-hyperglycemic medication (oral, injection or insulin) with Sun Life group health insurance are eligible for Dexcom G7 CGM coverage. Your G7 claims can be submitted and paid directly at your pharmacy of choice.
Do I need a prescription to qualify for coverage?
No, you don’t need a prescription from a physician.
What do I need to get coverage approval?
For eligible Sun Life plan members with treated diabetes, coverage of Dexcom G7 supplies (sensors and receiver) will be automatically approved at pharmacy.
Where can I get my Dexcom CGM supplies?
You can pick up your Dexcom G7 CGM supplies from your pharmacy of choice.
Will I have any out-of-pocket costs?
In some cases, you may have out-of-pocket costs when purchasing G7 at your pharmacy. If you have a co-pay amount, the Dexcom Savings Program assists in reducing or even eliminating up to 20% of out-of-pocket costs.* Download a copy of the program certificate below to redeem at your pharmacy.
