No. Dexcom G6 sensors, transmitters, and receivers are not compatible with the Dexcom G7 CGM app, sensors, nor receiver.

Insulin and food both take time to work. Avoid getting repeated alerts while you wait. To do so, go into the alert settings and turn off the Snooze feature.

How do I stop repeated alerts?

If using the app, consider setting up a second alert profile to sleep uninterrupted (unless you go low) by turning off any alerts that aren’t essential for you.

How can I get fewer nighttime alerts?

What are Quiet Modes?

In the Dexcom G7 app, you can log your fasting glucose as an event. It can be recorded after not eating or drinking anything (except water) for up to 8 hours, when you wake up for instance.  You can enter a fasting event up to 30 days back.

How do I log my fasting glucose?

You can see the events you’ve tracked on your display device. In the app, navigate to the History tab, and you’ll see a list of the events logged in the last 3 days.
