What is the difference between Power Off and Stop Sensor Session on the Dexcom G7 receiver?

The Power Off option powers down the receiver and acts as an on/off button, temporarily turning off all communication between your Dexcom G7 sensor and receiver during a sensor session. You wonโ€™t get sensor glucose readings during this time, and using the Power Off option wonโ€™t extend the life of your sensor. If you use the Power Off option, you can turn your receiver back on by holding down the right button with a circle on it (the Select button) for 3-5 seconds. Give the receiver at least 10 minutes for it to display a reading after it turns back on.
The Stop Sensor Session option ends a sensor session. After activating this option, you will not get sensor glucose readings. If you want to continue getting glucose readings, you must insert and pair a new sensor.
