I'm currently on Dexcom G6 and Beta Bionics iLet. How do I upgrade to be able to connect Dexcom G7?
Have your doctor send a prescription for Dexcom G7 to pharmacy or your DME provider where you obtain your Dexcom supplies.
I already have a Dexcom order on file at a DME distributor. Does my healthcare provider have to write a new order for G7?
Your DME distributor may be able to use your current order on-file to upgrade you to Dexcom G7. Call your DME distributor to confirm if you need your healthcare provider to send a new order for Dexcom G7. If so, you can ask them to fax a request to your healthcare provider for a Dexcom G7 order.
I already have a Dexcom G6 prescription at the pharmacy. Does my healthcare provider have to write a new prescription for G7?
Yes. Ask your healthcare provider to send a new prescription for Dexcom G7 to the pharmacy.
When am I eligible to order Dexcom G7?
Call your DME distributor or pharmacy to find-out when your insurance will allow you to fill your next order for CGM supplies.
I'm insured by Medicare. Am I required to get a Dexcom G7 receiver? Will Medicare pay for a new reciever, if I already have a Dexcom G7 receiver?
In order to qualify for Medicare coverage of your Dexcom G7 supplies, Medicare requires that you have a receiver that is compatible with Dexcom G7 and that you use that receiver with your supplies, even if you also use a compatible smart device, regardless of whether you use an insulin pump. If Medicare does not pay for a new receiver, Dexcom has launched a new upgrade program that includes a Dexcom G7 receiver at no charge for eligible customers.
I'm new to Dexcom and Beta Bionics. How do I get the Dexcom G7 and iLet pump?
The integration of Dexcom G7 and Beta Bionics iLet is now available. Ask your healthcare provider to send an order for Dexcom G7 and iLet to Beta Bionics through Parachute (or fax if they don't have Parachute - Fax: 800-786-0720)
Who do I call if I have an issue with updating the iLet?
Call customer service at 1-855-745-3800 and they can help you walk through the steps.
Will a new iLet pump connect with Dexcom G7?
After they download the updated app, they will be able to update the firmware to use Dexcom G7.
Will all Dexcom G7s work with the iLet Bionic Pancreas?
Yes.
Are there eligibility criteria I have to meet to upgrade now?
Available to all iLet users at launch.

What are the features and benefits of Dexcom G7?
60% smaller, all-in-one, discreeet wearable, easier to use with fewer components than the Dexcom G6. 30-minute warmup time. Improved accuracy (overall MARD of 8.2%). 10 days wear + 12 hour grace period. Indicated for wear on the back of theupper arm for ages 2years and older and also the upper buttocks for ages 2-6 years old. The iLet Bionic Pancreas System is indicated for use by people 6 years of age or older.
Is there copay assistance for Dexcom G7?
Dexcom is the most covered CGM system with fullly established coverage in DME and pharmacy and the most common claim being $0.
