Third Party Inventor Policy

Dexcom and its employees and contractors do not accept, review, or consider any unsolicited ideas, works, inventions (irrespective of whether the inventions are patented), materials, proposals, suggestions, designs, artwork, content or the like, including materials proposed for advertising campaigns, promotions, products, services, technologies, product enhancements, processes, marketing strategies, product names, content or creative materials (all of the foregoing referred to herein as “submissions”). Please do not send or provide any submissions in any form to Dexcom or to any of its employees or contractors. Dexcom appreciates both interest in and appreciation for our products and services, and we encourage those interested in contributing to the company to explore our job postings. We also welcome feedback regarding our products.

The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Dexcom’s products, services, technologies, advertising, promotions, marketing strategies or content might seem similar to submissions provided to Dexcom. If, despite our request that you not send us your submissions, you still submit them, then regardless of what your correspondence says, the following terms will apply to your submissions.

Dexcom reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time and may publish notice of any such modifications online for a reasonable period of time following such modifications, and by changing the effective date of these Terms. By continuing to provide Dexcom with your submissions after notice of such changes have been posted, you accept your agreement to be bound by them. Be sure to return to this page periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version of these Terms.

Terms of Idea Submission

You hereby grant Dexcom, its affiliates, partners, distributors, resellers, service providers, suppliers and any other party when involved in but not limited to the production, distribution, sale or marketing of any Dexcom product or service an unrestricted, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, fully paid-up, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable license to your submissions including their contents along with all related intellectual property and any other proprietary rights. You acknowledge and agree that Dexcom has no obligation to (1) review the submissions; (2) acknowledge receipt of the submissions, (3) provide any attribution or compensation for any use of the submissions including any related intellectual property or proprietary rights by Dexcom, and (4) keep any submissions or their origins confidential.
