My connected device doesn’t work with G7 yet, how do I get back on G6?

Dexcom is working closely with our insulin pump partners to integrate Dexcom G7 into current and future automated insulin delivery (AID) systems as quickly as possible.
If you were prescribed G7 and you need to switch back to Dexcom G6, reach out to your doctor and obtain a new prescription for Dexcom G6. You can fill the prescription either at the pharmacy or through your DME distributor.
Healthcare Providers should continue to prescribe G6 for patients seeking (or using) automated insulin delivery systems until G7 is compatible with their preferred AID system of choice.
