How do I start using the Dexcom Smart Basal program?
Dexcom Smart Basal must be initiated by your healthcare provider. Once your healthcare provider has started the program for you in Dexcom Clarity, they will give you a connect code to get started.
- Log into the Dexcom G7 app.
- If you haven’t started a Dexcom G7 15 Day sensor yet, insert a new sensor and follow the app instructions to begin your sensor session.
- Once connected, navigate to the Connections tab in your app, select Dexcom Smart Basal from the list of available connections.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, which will include:
- Entering your unique connect code
- Selecting the time of day you want to take your long-acting (basal) insulin dose.
