What happens when the Dexcom Smart Basal program is complete?
Stop the Smart Basal program and reach out to your healthcare provider immediately:
- If you take fast-acting/mealtime insulin, as it impacts dose recommendations and could cause severe hypoglycemia.
- If you are hospitalized for any reason: Work with the medical staff on dosing insulin in the hospital.
Inform your HCP if any medication has been added or changed while using the program.
