Why am I being asked to update my smartphone’s operating system (OS) to continue getting Dexcom G7 app updates?

We assess whether to keep supporting older Operating Systems (OS) for Dexcom apps on an annual basis. When an OS you’re using is no longer supported for your Dexcom app, we will ask you to update your OS to continue getting app updates.
Your current Dexcom app version may continue to work, but you won’t be able to get future app updates until you update your OS to the new required minimum OS. Not all OS updates will be compatible with the Dexcom G7 app right away, if possible, keep your smart devices Automatic Updates turned off to avoid automatically updating to an unsupported Operating System
