Why am I no longer receiving notifications or alerts from my app?

Your Dexcom app may be in Private Spaces (Android phones) or Hidden apps (Apple phones). While your Dexcom app is in these spaces you will not receive notifications.

Android phone:

If you installed your Dexcom app in Private Spaces your app will not send notifications or alerts to your device. To receive notifications and alerts you must install your Dexcom app in the phone, not in private spaces.

Apple Phone:

If you moved your Dexcom app to Hidden spaces your app will not send notifications or alerts to your device. To receive notifications and alerts you must long press the app in the hidden folder and remove Face ID.
If you are still receiving notifications, but cannot see the content, your app might be locked. Try unlocking your app by long pressing the app and selecting remove Face ID.
