Why does the G6 iOS app ask for permission to send Critical Alerts?

The G6 1.10 iOS app update introduced a new Critical Alerts permission for iOS users. During app set up, or after updating to G6 1.10, the G6 app will ask you to allow Critical Alerts. Choose “Allow” when asked by the below prompt to continue using the app.

The G6 app needs Critical Alerts permission for Urgent Low to sound when your phone is on mute or Do Not Disturb.
