Are there Apple Watch complications for Dexcom G7?
The G7 app includes an Apple Watch app. Use the watch app to get your current glucose value, trend, and a 1, 3, or 6 hour graph of past readings. Swipe the screen to move back and forth between different views.
If the watch app didn’t install automatically, manually install it by going to the watch app on your phone. To quickly access the G7 app from your watch, add it to the dock or add a watch face complication. Tap the complication to open the app.
You can choose from five watch face complications, available on select watch faces.
If you are not connected using the Direct to Watch feature, you must connect your Apple Watch with your compatible iPhone to get updates to the complication, and alerts and notifications on your Apple watch.
When not in Direct to Watch mode, the watch communicates with the iPhone, not the Dexcom G7 sensor, so if your iPhone is out of range, you won’t get updated glucose information on your watch. For example, if you have your watch on and you go out, but leave your iPhone at home, your watch won’t get updated glucose information.
