I am having a hard time with sensor insertion and overpatch application on the back of the arm. Does Dexcom have any recommendations?
Ask a friend, family member, or healthcare provider to help insert your first Dexcom G7 sensor and overpatch.
Insertion tips :
- Look in a mirror while positioning the applicator or applying your overpatch.
- Try reaching under and over your arm to find out which is more comfortable.
- Press and hold applicator firmly against skin until clear safety guard is pushed in. Then push button on side of applicator.
- Ask your healthcare provider for more tips.
