How do I store my Dexcom Supplies?

Your Dexcom CGM components should be stored properly so they can function correctly. Please see below for how to store your Dexcom sensor, transmitter and receiver.
Storing your sensors:
  • Keep in its sterile packaging until you’re ready to use it.
  • Store at temperatures between 36°F and 86°F.
  • Storing outside this range may cause inaccurate G6 readings.
  • You may store sensor in refrigerator if it’s within temperature range.
  • Store sensors in a cool, dry place. Don’t store in parked car on a hot day or in freezer.
Storing your transmitter:
  • Keep protected when not in use.
  • Store at temperatures between 32°F and 113°F.
  • Store between 10% and 95% relative humidity.
Storing your receiver:
  • Keep protected when not in use.
  • Fully charge the battery before storing for over 3 months.
  • Store at temperatures between 32°F and 104°F.
  • Store between 10% and 95% relative humidity.
