I already have a Dexcom order on file at a DME distributor. Does my healthcare provider have to write a new order for Dexcom G7?
Your DME distributor may be able to use your current order on-file to upgrade you to Dexcom G7. Call your DME distributor to confirm if you need your healthcare provider to send a new order for Dexcom G7. If so, you can ask them to fax a request to you healthcare provider for a Dexcom G7 order.
For Omnipod Users:
If you are a current Omnipod® 5 user, please wait to request a new order for Dexcom G7 until you have received the Pods compatible with Dexcom G6 and G7 in your preferred pharmacy.
If you are looking to get started on Omnipod 5, your DME distributor may be able to use your current Dexcom G6 order on-file to upgrade you to Dexcom G7.
