Why am I getting a Bluetooth alert when I am pairing my sensor?
Bluetooth information is used to pair your Dexcom sensor.
With iOS18 Apple introduced new privacy and data sharing features that help educate a user on potential misuse. Apple is notifying you that when pairing a Bluetooth device your location could be tracked.
Each time a sensor is paired you will receive a notification from Apple about the possibility of tracking your location. However, Dexcom will never track your location based on Bluetooth information.
This applies to both Dexcom G7 and Dexcom G7 15 Day CGM Systems.
