Follow these steps to update your Dexcom receiver:
- Visit the Dexcom Clarity website: On your computer, go to clarity.dexcom.com and select Dexcom Clarity for Home Users.
- Log in: Log in with your Dexcom account credentials. If you do not have an account, create one.
- Navigate to Upload: Once logged in, navigate to the Upload tab in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
- Download Dexcom Uploader: If you have not previously installed the Dexcom Uploader, you will be prompted to download it to your computer. If you already have Dexcom Uploader on your computer, plug in your receiver to begin the update.
- Connect your receiver: Connect your Dexcom G7 receiver to your computer using the USB cable that came with your receiver and select Upload on your computer. Your receiver will automatically begin its connection process and upload your past data.
- Update software: Once the data upload is successful, you will receive a notification to update your receiver to the latest version. Select the Update Receiver button in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
- Confirm update: Once the update is complete, a screen confirming the update will display. Select the Exit button, unplug your receiver, and begin a new sensor session.
