How long does the Dexcom G6 transmitter last?

The transmitter battery is good for 3 months. We recommend that you have your next transmitter in hand within 3 months of starting your previous transmitter.
If you haven’t received your final 10-day transmitter battery life warning, you can reuse the transmitter for your next session. Starting at 3 weeks before the end of its battery life, the warnings count down the transmitter battery life until it has only 10 days – one sensor session – left. If the transmitter battery has less than 10 days remaining, you won’t be able to start a new session and will see “Pair New Transmitter” instead.
Please reference our user guide for specific warranty information.
