How do I update my Dexcom Receiver Software?
To ensure you have the best experience, please frequently check and update your Dexcom Receiver to the latest software.
To update, simply visit dexcom.com/clarityapp on a desktop computer, log in, connect your receiver, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Steps to Update Your Dexcom Receiver:
1. Visit the Clarity Website: On your laptop or desktop computer, go to clarity.dexcom.com and click on “Dexcom Clarity for Home Users”.
2. Login: Log in with your Dexcom Account credentials. If you do not have an account, please create one.
3. Navigate to Upload: Once logged in, navigate to the Upload tab in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
4. Download Dexcom Uploader: If you have not previously installed the “Dexcom Uploader”, you will be prompted to download it to your computer. If you already have “Dexcom Uploader” on your computer, plug in your receiver to begin update.
5. Connect Your Receiver: Connect your Dexcom G7 Receiver to your computer using the USB cable that came with your Receiver and click “upload” on your computer. Your receiver will automatically begin its connection process and upload your past data.
6. Update Firmware: Once the data upload is successful, you will receive a notification to update your receiver to the latest version. Click the “Update Receiver” button in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
7. Confirm Update: Once the update is complete, you will see a screen confirming the update was successful. Press the “exit” button, unplug your receiver, and begin a new sensor session.
Reminder: This update has reset your receiver to its factory settings. Please be sure to re-select your preferred receiver settings prior to your next sensor session.
