Can my Dexcom G7 CGM sensor be restarted after the sensor session is complete?
No, you cannot restart your Dexcom G7 CGM system after you have ended the sensor session.
- The Dexcom G7 sensor sends glucose data to a user’s compatible display device* for up to 10 days with a 12-hour grace period at the end.
- The Dexcom G7 15 Day sensor sends glucose data to a user’s compatible display device* for up to 15 days with a 12-hour grace period at the end.
After the grace period ends, you will need to start a new sensor session to get glucose readings and alerts.
As a reminder, read product instructions before you use your Dexcom G7 CGM System.
