Can the G7 sensor be restarted after 10 days?

No restarts are allowed. The Dexcom G7 sensor sends glucose data to a user’s compatible display device* for up to 10 days with a 12-hour grace period at the end. After the grace period ends, you will need to replace your sensor to get glucose readings or alerts.
As a reminder, read product instructions before you use your Dexcom G7 CGM System.
Where to insert — Dexcom G7 sensors may be inserted on the back of the upper arm (indicated for users ages 2 years and older) or the upper buttocks (ages 2-6 years old). Don’t wear your Dexcom G7 sensor on other sites as it may not work as expected. If you wore G6 sensors on your abdomen, wear G7 sensors on the back of your upper arm.
Follow the insertion instructions carefully. Extra care may help you keep your sensor on for the entire sensor session. The potential magnitude of reduced sensor life throughout the 10 days is provided in the G7 User Guide (refer to Section E, titled Technical Information, Sensor life).
