Connecting you to our warriors
Charlotte D., Dexcom Warrior and host of “Connections That Count”
Hi everyone, I’m Charlotte D., a world class trampoline gymnast, advocate for the diabetes community, and the host of Connections That Count. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes right before a world competition, and the only way I was able to keep chasing my dreams was by forming meaningful connections. From sharing my Dexcom CGM data with my team and family, to integrating it with apps like Sugarmate and Happy Bob, to attending walks, talks, and meet-ups with other people living with diabetes, I learned that my diagnosis won’t hold me back. I’m so excited
to be part of Connections That Count so we can continue to share our stories, meet new friends, and show the world how strong we
are, together.
Anette O., Dexcom Warrior
I’m Anette O., a Dexcom Warrior from Vancouver, B.C. I’m a mom and grandmother, and I’ve worked in commercial real estate for 16 years. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2018—not the news I wanted, but not a surprise given my family history. I stay active with daily gym workouts, cardio dance classes, and staying involved at my church. With Dexcom G7, I can keep an eye on my glucose around the clock. It sends alerts when I go too high or too low, and my family can see my numbers too, so they check in when I’m out of range.† With Dexcom G7, I feel more confident managing diabetes while keeping up with my life and goals.
Daniel J., Dexcom Warrior
My name is Daniel J., and I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes for 16 years. Throughout my journey, I’ve navigated life with T1D while successfully playing high school sports and graduating from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business. I’m passionate about helping fellow Dexcom Warriors reach their full potential, offering support through the highs and lows that come with managing diabetes. The Dexcom G7, paired with my connected insulin pump, has been a game changer for maintaining healthy glucose levels, empowering me to live life with confidence and freedom.
